History of BEZALIN S.A. dates back to 1859, when K. Schauderna and Son set up a small factory producing hemp, cotton and wire ropes. In 1945, the factory's real estate was taken over by the State and, by order of the Minister of Light Industry, a new company called "Bielskie Zakłady Lin i Powrozów" (Ropes & Belts Bielsko Factory) was established to manufacture a variety of rope products.
Since 1956, the range of production have expanded to include textiles, such as belts, webbings and fire hoses. Therefore, the name of the company was also changed to Bielskie Zakłady Lin i Pasów "Bezalin" (Ropes & Belts Bielsko Factory "Bezalin"). The dynamic development of the plant in the years 1960 - 1973 contributed to the transformation of a small factory into an enterprise that is a national leader in the field of rope and woven products.
Thanks to a thorough reconstruction and modernization, the company, operating today under the name BEZALIN S.A. is a fully modern plant with technological equipment purchased from Italian, German, Norwegian and Danish companies, employing qualified engineering and technical staff, cooperating in the field of new technological solutions and structures with renowned research and development centres, institutions and universities.
The products of BEZALIN S.A. are well known and appreciated for their high quality. They find buyers on the Polish market and on many demanding foreign markets, which is best evidenced by the fact that nearly 40% of production is exported. The company's products go to, among others, Italy, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and the Middle East.
